What type of stories do you tell yourself?
You see, the little anecdotes we play in our heads have a significant role in our internal sales process. The voice that says “There’s no way I can close that deal,” or “I’m just a small business. Large companies wouldn’t deal with me,” undermine your true capabilities.
Whatever happened to the voice that hypes you up? The one that’s more encouraging and motivating?
When you’re selling a premium service, you have to be bold. You must possess a “can-do” attitude. Once you have this mindset, the voices and stories in your head will start sharing words of encouragement. If you don’t act now and if you don’t even try, the answer will always be ‘no.’ But what if you pick up the phone?
Think about it, what have you got to lose with one phone call? And if they skip your offer, you have hundreds more to cold call. Why wait 5 or 10 more years when you can do it today.
